am i the asshole?

okay so like rec room shut down and my bf is all sad, and my rat died the next day. he literally barely texted me at all and finally after having our like first actual conversation today, i brought up the fact that he had barely texted me in a week and he said its bc rec room shut down, which i replied w "my rat literally died" and he decides to be a dick and say it isnt a competition.. like are you seriously comparing a game to the death of my pet? I feel like i'm a very low maintenance gf, he rarely texts me.. like maybe snaps me once a day for streaks. he's literally so inconsiderate, i tried to understand how he felt about the game shutting down but he couldn't even make an effort to give me a little extra attention as i'm literally mourning my pet. i swear he just expects me to stay despite how he treats me.

I'm trying really hard to tell myself it isn't my fault, but i keep feeling like i'm the one being inconsiderate..
