[ART] First Contact

It's like a breath of fresh air to find a brand new platform - notably a much quieter one - to post on. Sometimes all the scrolling and sharing and cross posting on stories and reels and YouTube shorts become psychically overwhelming (and addicting). It's a shame because hard-working artists, their media, becomes infected with the desire to be lost in sensation without appreciating the media. Not savoring the meal but banishing the uncomfortable feeling of emptiness, devouring without notice. 

That, I fear, is happening to me. Consuming without thought, adding a like without my mind, seeing with eyes that aren't mine. Becoming one with the algorithm and gambling my interests into reality. 

In the end, forgetting who I am.
