New changes for UK and Aussie users coming soon ):

I wanted to formally notify all United Kingdom & Australian users of some upcoming changes.

I'm sure you realize the online safety acts in your country.

While this is an excellent step forward in protecting online users and minor accounts, it presents everyone in the region with an option, comply with age verification or be denied access to the platform.

Many other services do not have the capacity or technology to comply so the end result is usually blocking a whole region or country. While that may be an easy and cost effective approach, it punishes thousands of active and future users, and shows they have no system in place whatsoever to protect the minor accounts.

FriendRewind is pleased to announce that it will remain open for the dedicated users in UK or AUS, but may require current accounts to verify once to continue with their account. (There will also be a delete account button for those who refuse to verify).

Our goal for online privacy has not changed or pivoted whatsoever,  but in order to comply with local governments and keep the service active in your region, this is what will have to happen.
