saw of Montreal on saturday night! this is either my fourth or fifth concert of theirs i have been to (my memory issues..... </3). i am very used to concerts being primarily sunlandic twins/hissing fauna, a few from satanic panic, and then whatever album she just released and is touring for (besides the sunlandic tour but like... that was an anniversary tour so it was literally just that album besides the encore). my setlist was...

it was a great show! unfortunately during the encore someone punched someone else (which... at an of Montreal show? what the hell?). they seemed ok, and kevin checked on them. i think that might have been why we got a double encore? since every other show only had two songs for the encore... regardless, besides that hiccup, the show was awesome as always. a lot of the setlist was songs i have not seen live, nor were ever expecting to see live, so that made me really happy. i wanted to see the past is a grotesque animal performed once live, and now i can say that i have. i almost started crying tbh. i went to kura before the concert which was really fun too. can't wait to see them again. <3
