#1 - recording, experimenting, and leaving scenes behind :P

if this shit works out, i'll do more of these... 

so the year's almost over, and over that year, I released a shit ton of singles, an EP and an album! its been really fun and cool to see people listening to my shit and to see some songs reach over 10k views on YouTube, but it's still extremely early into the life of my music career as bleeder, and I guess starting a blog to update y'all on shit would be cool as the audience grows.. so what's the updates? what's the haps?

1. RECORDING A NEW ALBUM!!!

if you saw my bulletin or description of last MV, you probably already knew this, but I'm currently working on my next album! its different from any of my last releases, and is gonna be a lot more post-hardcore and screamo with influences of emoviolence and nintendocore. I love pop punk, but there's a grittiness and feeling that's better captured in Drop B with a  capo than simple guitar riffs. It should be out by the start of next year, and I'm taking a bunch of old/random gear from my school to record it. 

2. NEW BLOGSPOT PAGE!!

I tried making a neocities page and that as well as you could expect- (coding's hard..) so I made a blogspot page instead! I'll probably post these blogs on there as well, but I saw it more as a way to post pictures from shows (if I ever play them) the same way Silk does on theirs. You can check it out here! (though there isn't shit on there yet)

3. disassociation with the Incelcore "scene" (SNOCA) and the transition to heavier music!

I originally started bleeder as an Incelcore/E-Punk project and I quickly grew in that scene, but i've recently left because well... I mean, with a name like incelcore, most people wouldn't want to stay. I've made a lot of friends in that scene that I'm planning on keeping around, but as for my involvement with the scene, it never really fit me as a person. I'm not hateful, homophobic, racist or bigoted, and despite a lot of people in that scene not being any of those either, a lot are, and it's hard to imagine a future being associated with that kind of people. what drew me into it was the DIY and microgenre aspects of it, but what does that mean when everyone is it is just a piece of shit? Along with that, TCC kids and genuine neo-nazis like that shit, and I don't want those people putting my music on their manifestos, so for the genuine better and chance of keeping a job, I'm leavin' that scene. Also, my music never really fit the label, and I was never an incel to begin with, moreso just a shut in introvert, which I still same to be honest, but i have a girlfriend and I don't hate women, and I never made my songs about hating women and moreso just standard themes you see in a 90's pop punk song. but yeah, better to be disassociated than adjacent to it.

As for the transition to heavier music, as stated in the first section, I'm taking bleeder in a new transition to post hardcore and screamo, with influences of bands that I adore like April's Love Affair, Error37, Silk, and Key Vs. Locket, along with a lot more. I have a lot of reasons, like just the want for a stylistic change, the want to challenge myself, and wanting to play fun shows. 

This was kind of a nothing burger, and these will get way more interesting as time goes on. For now, the main focus is just the album and maybe starting to get a lineup to turn this thing into an actual band. thanks 4 readin' :)
