11 - gaming and being bad at it

Welcome to my 11th diary entry!!

I started playing Hollow Knight yesterday! I'd heard very nice things about it so I decided to give it a try.

Now, I am possibly the worst gamer on earth! 
Deltarune ch5, the one with the "jumping on platforms" mechanic, was VERY HARD for me! So of course given that Hollow Knight is all like that, I have been having an extremely fun time falling a billion times on murderous thorns and water-that-kills-you yesterday. 

This morning I guess I have been blessed by the gods of eye-hand coordination and it now seems like I find the whole moving around a bit easier. However combat is a whole other mountain to climb I fear. I've managed to progress a little bit, which means I now have to deal with two big bugs to go even further. 
One of them is iirc False Knight? And the other is i think Gruz Mother. I think I can maybe deal with the first one if I lock in! The other one... uh... maybe one day...?

I sometimes wish I'd started playing videogames way earlier in life so that I would now have a little baggage of skills that could maybe help in cases like this lol.
There's definitely some fun in completely sucking ass and gradually gaining the skills necessary to defeat bosses, it makes finally beating them very satisfying :'D
But it is a bit tiring as well!

Gaming aside, these days have been okay! Today's my third anniversary with my bf and we treated ourselves to a nice lunch. We're going out with some friends in the evening and I'm pretty excited since I haven't been out with them for a while. I hope everything goes well today!!
