hii i'm sorry to hear about brian not working out
i'm 21 and engaged and if youd like to hear my advice, its that you still have a lot of time ahead of you. take things slow. a month is a blink of an eye, in the grand scheme of things. none of my relationships in middle/high school worked out cuz i took things too quick and didnt really know who i was. that's okay. its normal to take some time to date around and find out what you like and who youre looking for
get to know yourself, get to know other people
i commend brian for being straight up w you and jus saying hes not ready for a relationship. thats a mature thing to do
i know for you it will get better. youll feel hurt about this now, but soon enough youll just think to yourself, "well, he's missing out!" and get to meet someone new
