In yet another entry of a series of blogs where I talk about retro technology and the cool shit of the past, I would like to shine some light on the camera technology of the past, more specifically...
THE SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-T50
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the Sony Cybershot DSC-T99 which looks a lot thinner and has a simple slide-down camera cover. But I wanna talk about the DSC- T50 specifically because I feel like its design has the perfect mix of compactness and ergonomics.
The camera itself was released in October of 2006, and was originally priced at 500 clams USD (gee whiz). I will also note that this camera is actually a touchscreen camera, however it does have a sibling, the DSC-T30, which operates with the use of physical buttons.
All in all I just adore this camera's design and shape, the raised side of the camera gives it a uniqueness that really differentiates it from the rest of the Sony Cybershot series of cameras. I hope to get one myself in the future, but don't plan on paying a lot for one, and only really intend to buy one if I get lucky and find it at a thrift or something of the sort (very unlikely to happen but I can dream) ANYWAYS thanks once again for stopping by and listening to me ramble, I hope you have a great rest of your day and or night! :>

I think its cool Sony has many types of cameras back then. I have the Sony Cybershot DSC-S700 and adore it. This look is more simple and sleek I will say. Nice find :)
