wow i am just feeling so over the moon today. a hint of anxiety but that's the new normal for me now lol.
i started today on a good note. i slept at a reasonable time last night, meaning i woke up around 9amish SUPER ready for the incoming day!!
i knew that the uv today was going to be HIGH AF so i made sure to change into my cute bikini from hollister and grabbed my tote bag containing the essentials:
- sunscreen (VERY important so u don't end up with 3rd degree burns)
- water (hydration is KEY for an even and long lasting tan + u don't want to pass out from heat exhaustion)
- tanning oil (accelerates the tanning process + preventing dryness)
i laid out on my backyard for like 2 1/2 hours, kinda boring but i had my AirPods in listening to some lit summer tunes, plus scrolling when i would flip to my back.
good thing im a hardcore pro at daydreaming, otherwise i would be soo over it.
anyways afterwards i was in such a good mood just from being outside but i had work this afternoon so i had to quickly get ready! the tanning oil made me feel super greasy so i ended up washing my hair. i got a new brand from target recently because my old one was making my hair SUPER frizzy and dry. hopefully this one works better than the last!
work was just the usual, but the news i received afterwards is what has truly completed my day. i don't want to talk about it right now bc i fear ill jinx it but just know its wonderful!! :))))
i hope tomorrow will be just as good and maybe ill tan again tmrw idk yet!

oo i dunno if this might help, but my state is super high in humidity and often i'll need some help of a leave in conditioner for my hair cuz itll get frizzy! ive tried the "Shea Solutions Leave in Conditioner" and thats helped manage it some? if not for the frizz, i notice it does often leave my hair way softer after. would have to double check if its for ur hair type though!
