33,247 people of no renown were killed by tigers in the years between 1876 and 1912. I think some credit is due, perhaps in a list of people killed by tigers and their accomplishments. If I had it my way, this would be announced on the news, since people seem to be entertained hearing about people dying on the news. And then people would say "Where were you when you heard that 33,247 people died from tigers?". I'll never forget the morning of Some Day In April in 1886 when Unnamed Man Number 63 was unexpectedly taken away from us forever. He was a scholar and played the banjo. A painting sits dedicated to him in his great grandchildren's living room depicting his glorious fight with the tiger.
