8 - new fren (cw?: spider pics)

welcome to my 8th diary entry!!! 

a while ago a little jumping spider appeared in my room. i named him Gerard. once i heard you can actually have jumping spiders on your hands i tried to have Gerard climb on mine. he went on one of my fingers twice, but both times i freaked out and moved my hand as sort of a reflex, and he jumped down.
then he disappeared from my room and i have regretted getting scared ever since </3

today, i saw an extremely small guy on the wall of the room where i exercise in...

it doesn't look that small in this pic but it's like smaller than a fingernail (which i have proof of, you'll see). anyway, this time around i got brave and actually held the kewt little spider in my hands without freaking out!

it was super super nice, i was super excited as it walked around my hand aaaaaaaaa!!!!

i'm super happy. i named it Tofu and i truly hope it's not going to disappear like Gerard.
right now it's on my desk and i'm checking it periodically so that i know where it is and i don't accidentally squash it (it's next to one of my sketchbooks rn if anyone's interested lolol). not sure whether there's a place in my room that would be a bit safer for this little guy but as soon as i find it i'll try to move it there :'D

anywayyyy, that's it for today! i know i wrote very little but nothing much happened aside from this and i really wanted to share it :D

i put this in pets but rather than my pet i'd say Tofu is my new roomie that is free to roam around and do whatever it wants, also cuz i don't know how to take care of spiders :'D
