A game me and my friends made up when we were 10, because who doesn't want more fun in their life?

it's called SLUG.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION:

any amount of slugs and non-slugs is allowed.

playing in a large area is better, but this can work even in small rooms.

the room MUST be dark, but remain slightly visible for the non-slugs.

for any amount of slugs, the same amount of blankets are needed.

TO PLAY AS A SLUG:

Your objective is to touch one person. you have to be crawling/wriggling on the floor covered by a blanket. you are not allowed to see anything, and you will navigate using your arms(antennae).

If another person touches you, it does not count as a win. You have to touch them.

TO PLAY AS A NON-SLUG:

Your objective is to escape the slug and not let it touch you. You are stuck in the room with the slug and can not leave the room (It's cheating, duh). You may touch the slug to tease or disorient them, but harming the slug is not allowed. Even though the slug is blinded, the room must still be dark as to not give too much of an advantage to non-slugs.

WHOEVER IS TOUCHED BY THE SLUG BECOMES THE SLUG NEXT.

sometimes me and my friends like to play it sort of as an infection instead, where the slugs do not leave and just keep on adding as the last person attempts to escape, but the USUAL play-style is the set amount of slugs, and people rotating as they get touched by the slugs.

SLUG LORE (because we made a documentary so like, whatever):

A slug is an alien creature that has invaded earth, but for centuries had lain dormant. They are dominant, ravenous creatures that despite an unassuming exterior, are cold-blooded killers. They fight a lot between their own species, keeping their population numbers low, as they fight for dominance even despite a lack of mating (as they are asexual creatures). Despite their rather aggressive demeanor, they can be provoked by humans quite a bit without any reaction. Seemingly afraid, as they are quite weak to salt. Once provoked too much, it will be set on attacking and not give up until someone is dead.

Although these creatures may seem horrible, they are actually quite good for the earth, as they seem to solely feed on their own species' defeated carcasses and many invasive, unwanted plants.

Thank you for reading, this has been Permanentdaylight.
