a little introduction of myself

Hi! I'm Manon. I'm 22. I'm Taiwanese. From Taiwan, not Thailand. Believe it or not, I've been asked that question way too many times. I speak Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and a little French. I'll probably make some grammar mistakes. I'm really bad at grammar, lol!

I'm a university student, as I wrote in my bio. My major is French. I lived in France from 2024 to 2025 as an international student, and that's how I ended up with depression and realized I actually don't like living in France. (I always tell my old friends I hate France, but my friend who went there with me loves it and plans to go there again for a master's degree. I'm not gonna do that again, even with her. I hate studying at university haha)

I love to read. AO3 is my favorite website, but I do read a lot of classics. I mean, most of them are classics for a good reason. My music taste and playlists depend on my mood that day, or even the moment before I hop on my scooter. Yes, I chose a university 20 km away from my home, so I ride my scooter there and back to my parents' home every day. I've regretted it for nearly three years because it's on a hill, which is not fun most of the time. I still live with my parents. Rent here is insane! I'm happy with living with my parents most of the time.

I'm 165 cm tall, but I've always wished I could be taller. My natural hair is straight, and although my hairdresser says I have a little natural curl, it's not noticeable at all. I just think my hair is a bit fluffier than my sister's. I recently got my hair permed (pics are in my bio), and I surprisingly love it! I think I'd get it done again. It's so worth it, lol.
