• underscores aka April Harper Grey! I found her music through 'Do It' a couple days before the release of U, her latest album. Safe to say, she's a huge inspo. I listened to all her albums, starting with U, then fishmonger, then Wallsocket, all amazing albums that you should definitely go check out if you haven't!! U, released earlier this year on march, sees her enter into this pop star era you might know her from. I know most people in this site listen to more rock music than anything, but this one's still worth checking out! And speaking of rock music, her two other albums definitely lean more into that side, especially Wallsocket. And MY GOD what an album Wallsocket is. It's a very narrative album, following the story of 3 girls in the fictional town known as Wallsocket, MI. The thing that made me fall in love with this album is definitely the story April was putting together even before the album released. She made a whole ARG sorrounding Wallsocket, making a couple fake websites that contain little easter eggs about the album, and with each single dropped for the album it teased little by little the story of the girls with the MVs. I don't wanna spoil too much, but if this hasn't intrigued you in some way yet, still definitely check out the album even if you're not paying too much attention at the story, since it's really catchy and emotional at parts. And for fishmonger, it's a pretty great album, just not to the same degree as the other two. I don't really have much to say about it other than the songs are pretty catchy, especially 'Second hand embarrassment' and 'Spoiled little brat'.

• Jane Remover aka leroy aka venturing! I found them through underscores with the song 'Uncanny long arms', where they feature. Also, just like underscores, they're a very big inspo of mine! I haven't heard every album of theirs, but from the ones I've heard they're really good. I recently listened to Census Designated and it's become one of my favorite albums of all time. I reallyyy love their vocals on it; the production and lyrics are also just as good, and I can't help but find it really inspiring how they did all of it at the age of 19, which also makes me feel really sad for all they must've gone through to make such gutwrenching lyrics. Revengeseekerz, released two years later, is also an incredible album. The contrast between the very dreamy, almost ominous composition of Census with the overtly abbrasive, bass-boosted ass production of Revengeseekerz is kinda funny to hear. They take a completely different direction with this album, going with a more digicore approach. It's also just the hardest thing anyone has ever fucking made. Period. Their leroy side-project is also very interesting and fascinating to me, though it's a little less accessible due to it being exclusively on SoundCloud and Bandcamp, and also "less accessible" in the sense that it's fucking crazy. Just go listen to Dariacore 3 or Grave Robbing and report back with your thoughts on them.

• Machine Girl! Got reeeeaaally into their music through WLFGRL last year and just started listening to their other albums from there! I still need to listen to Psychowarrior, though... Anyways, they're a digital hardcore band since around the mid-2010s, before then Machine Girl was only comprised of Matthew Stephenson, who is still the main producer and vocalist in the group. If you've only ever heard of Wlfgrl, be aware they don't really make that kinda music often anymore, but if you want more of that rave aesthetic: 'Gemini', 'MRK90 MIX VOL 1' and 'RePorpoised Phantasies' are great albums you'd probably love. For they're more digital hardcore music, I haven't heard much of it. I've only listened to '...BECAUSE I'M YOUNG ARROGANT AND HATE EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR' and 'MG Ultra'. One thing that has definitely inspired me the most from their work is the soundtrack they made for Neon White. This is gonna be the most autistic thing I've ever said, but I genuinely built a whole world inside my head with this album. I don't really know how to describe it, and the only way I can think of telling you the vibe of this world is it's really inspired by ENA and DELTARUNE. IDK. the concept is still kinda vague inside my head and I don't know how well I could replicate it in the future. I don't wanna go on a side tangent so I'll just leave it there. bleh !!!

As you can see, I have a bit to talk about these artists lol. There's a ton of other artists I listen to, but these three are my biggest inspos by a wiiiiddee margin :,3 Like, "making fan music videos in my head that I'll probably never make" levels of inspo. it's crazy over here

Games

Another big main interest of mine is games! I don't really like telling people that I play games (even though 99% of my generation does it) 'cause I really REALLY don't want people to think I stay at my room all day WHICH I DON'T BY THE WAY. The fact that I look like the most stereotypical highschool nerd ever REALLY doesn't help lol. Anyways, I've been playing videogames since a little kid. My mom had a PlayStation 3 and a Wii, so I used to play with those aaaallll the time. I think even before I learned how to read LMFAO. I used to play a lot of Little Big Planet 3 on the PlayStation, though I don't really remember ever beating it. Probably should get on that at some point,,, On the Wii, me, my mom and my sister used to play a looot of Wii Sports and Wii Play Motion. On Play Motion, I distinctly remember we used to play the rock skipping and ghosthunting games the most (still some of my favorite minigames ever made they're just that good). I also played a lot of Kirby games, mainly Return to Dreamland and Epic Yarn (which I think are the only two mainline Kirby games on the Wii actually lol). I never got to beat Epic Yarn, though. I've probably seen the ending already on YouTube, but it had to be a LOOONNGG time ago cus I don't remember ANYTHING.

After some time, the Switch released and my parents bought it for my sister and I for christmas. I still think it's kinda crazy that the Switch released almost a decade ago??? Like I can't be the only one that thinks that right. Like I was literally 6 years old MAXIMUM /ref. Anways, we got Super Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 alongside it, so I played those for some time. I'm pretty sure I beat Odyssey like 5 times lol it's just that good. My sister, however, got reaallyy hooked to Splatoon 2. I forgot to mention we actually owned a Wii U, too, so that's where she, and I, found the franchise and ultimately fell in love with it :3 I never got hooked to the same degree as her, mostly because I don't like shooters and PVP games, but I still really like the story mode for the two games :] Over the past couple of years, our parents bought us a bunch of other games. Just to name a few: Mario Kart 8, Kirby Star Allies and Forgotten Land, Snipperclips, etc. Thank you mom and dad I love you so much <3

Right now, I mostly use my computer for playing games. Mostly indie games. Some favorites include: DELTARUNE, ENA: Dream BBQ, Psychopomp, Celeste, SIGNALIS, Webfishing and Hollow Knight in no particular order. I have a lot of games on my library that I haven't really touched yet, though, 'cause now I mostly play Roblox games lmfao (not the slop though I promise!!). 

Movies

I don't watch many movies, to be honest, even though I really enjoy doing it. I guess I just have other things that interest me more. Off the top of my head, Interstellar, Backrooms and The Ghost of Winter Cape are all really good movies you should definitely go watch. Not much to say I'm not a moviehead sorry.

Television

Also not much to say here. I mostly watch webseries now, but some shows I really enjoyed from when I was younger are Gravity Falls, TAWOG andd Over the Garden Wall. Right now, some webseries I've really liked are TADC, Pop-Ocalypse and BIGTOP BURGER.

And that's kinda it. I didn't mean to make this blog this long but I don't really care. I like talking about the things that are important to me; that are the reason I enjoy being who I am to this day :] I dread the day I actually have to start working, so I'm trying to enjoy this period of my life as much as I possibly can, even if it hasn't turned out exactly how I would've wanted it. Because not everything is always gonna turn out in my favor and that's totally fine. No one on this earth is living their perfect life, and I think that's what makes us all so human :-3 #hopecore #inspirational
