a movie so bad that it's criminal

(Note that this isn't a review, since I haven't actually seen the movie, but after all the shit I heard about it, and saw it through clips, I feel like not even searching for it at all)

A while back I spoke about Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance, a movie who, on a cinematic level, is bad, yet enjoyable to the average viewer.So today I'll adress a movie that is actually TERRIBLE on every aspect, from cinematographic reasons to bad story and dogshit message.No wonder that Germany banned this movie, because it's bad.(If you see anyone in YT comment sections that, because the movie is banned, it gives them more of a reason to watch it, they are bots no discussion.)

The movie in cause is called "Citizen Vigilante"; it was released this year and is the latest pile of shit made by atrocious neo nazi director Uwe Boll; a "director" so bad that it makes Lucifer Valentine (edgelord) seem like Andrei Tarkovsky next to him.

"Citizen Vigilante" follows a simple premise where an ex american officer immigrates to an unnamed european country (seriously, the movie just says "Europe"... NOT EVEN THE COUNTRY'S NAME OR THE CITY THAT IT TAKES PLACE IN... also, they speak english in it despite being in "Europe") and becomes a rich landlord... very relatable.Overtime, he grows tired of the justice system, incapable of rightfully punishing criminals, so he decides to take matters in his own hands, thus becoming the "Citizen Vigilante", who is... a fascist Walmart version of Batman and Punisher.(The batman bit is related to the original title for the movie, which was "The Dark Knight")

The first problem with this movie is how it goes to highlight the idea that immigrants, specifically muslims, are the cause of high crime rates in "Europe", where they form gangs and do all malicious stuff.One of the main representation of this hatred is solidied with one character.A muslim boy takes part in the raping of a girl, to the point where hospitalization is needed.The judge present in this movie decides to let him free, and gives the reasoning that both immigrants and citizens are affected by crime and the flawed justice system.First of all, the "all mighty hero", dressed like a matrix character kidnaps the judge, causes a car crash (I'm not even exaggerating... he also blames it on the law or something, despite HIM driving on the opposite lane of the road) and kills him, instead of just... capturing the boy and handing him to the authorities.He does track down the boy however, just to end up taking HIS WHOLE FAMILY hostage, where he condemns the muslim dad for teaching his kids "rape" values (dude wth...) before SLAUGHTERING the whole family; after that, a news reporter whose entire role in this movie is to dick ride the everlasting shit out the edgy psychopath says that he did a right thing.Not only that he inherently condemned a whole religion because in his eyes it promotes wrong values, despite not being true, but he slaughtered an innocent family over one teen's crime, which is terrifying BECAUSE THE FAMILY DIDN'T HAD ANYTHING to do with the crime.While he learns values in his family, he can also be influenced by other people or media, plus he's fully responsible for the crime, and all of this could've been resolved if all the "hero" did was to take the boy and hand him to cops.SIMPLE AS THAT!

Another thing about it is how weird the main character is.Despite being against "immigrants"... HE IS ONE!HE ILLEGALY IMMIGRATED IN "Europe" and decided to please the law by shooting families.Michael Sanders (his real name) is an EX US Army Officer who ILLEGALY immigrates in "Europe" after inheriting his dad's real estate bussiness.So all the relatable factors went to the bottom of the pit.Not only that he isn't a relatable main character, wounded by the corrupt law system and determined to make a change, but he lacks any form of a personality, since all he does in this movie is act like a worse Punisher and kill innocents.There is literally a scene where he kills special forces men with an auto-operated machine gun before somehow making an escape.There is also no trace of a past, of any views and complex character traits, he is just a Batman with the mentality of Punisher and the complexity of a dry napkin.Sanders fails both as a standalone character who doesn't even live up the the name "Citizen" but also a terrible terrorist who likes to shoot muslim families and not saving shit, which means that "Vigilante" is also a very stretched idea... Mr Fantastic levels of stretch.And a side note... THIS DUDE WATCHES REELS (of people glazing him) WITH HIS PHONE DOWN!!!!WHAT THE FUCK!

Also, as a little add on, Armie Hammer, aka the main guy of the movie, known to play in "Call Me By Your Name" has stated that he "hates" the movie and that he cried after seeing the final result... which is the most blatant and stupid excuse I have ever seen.Basically, he recorded an entire movie where he acted like a racist Punisher, sees the final product and suffers a "post-nut clarity" moment and apologizes for making this shit AFTER FINISHING IT?He's just a dumbass.Also another final little add on... Hammer has ACTUAL rape and cannibalism allegations to his ass... very ironic for your right-wing edgy hero, right?

And finally, the movie itself looks like a glorified incestuous baby between a Tubi and a Netflix movie.The cinematography, color palette and scenes are terrible and literally look like a Tubi movie with the budget consisting of 2 packs of gum, a condom and an Axe spray can.On the Netflix part, the plot is bad, inconsistent, the characters are underdeveloped and perish at the slightest mention of "development".And if you ask yourself "how bad can the plot be?".Well my dear reader... the movie starts with a mother getting offed... IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, which is borderline insane because no one is killing people in the middle of the day.Another weird part is when Sanders educates a kid on why it's important to pay for the bus, which is ironic to hear an overnight wealthy retard teach you the importance of paying money for transport when he has enough green in his account to afford a car at any given time.And to end this: 2 inconsistent things of the story are the vigilante's actions and moments.In one peculiar scene, he bullies the raped girl into giving him permission to kill the muslim guy who did that to her, which is... weird.A vigilante would've just do justice so citizens could be safe, THAT'S THEIR POINT, and would not care about someone's opinion regarding him killing of criminals.The girl in cause also could barely speak, which makes that moment all the weirder.And finally, one last pinch of salt.One of the locations from the movie where crime shit happens is a brothel... OWNED BY THE MAIN GUY!WYM YOU'RE AGAINST UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES, YET YOU OWN THE PLACES WHERE THEY TAKE PLACE?WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU????

In conclusion, "Citizen Vigilante" is a pile of right-wing anti-immigration dogshit made by a guy who's both a terrible human being and director, it's an ugly movie with a boring plot and bland characters and is literally one of THE WORST MOVIES OF THIS ENTIRE MILLENIUM.If you see someone say ONE good thing about this pile of shit, they either lie, are bots or neo nazis.So basically, it's a movie made by a moron to appeal to morons.
