Heyo! My name is Retro. Im 20 years old and live in MERICA! 

Most days I work with my dad either mowing yards in the summer or selling firewood in the winter. I don’t really know what I’m doing most times, but im learning as I go. I really want to get into radio broadcasting either at an already existing station or make my own station. 

My hobbies are playing guitar, gaming, listening to music, watching TV, collecting physical media, fishing, & being outdoors. I especially enjoy playing the guitar. I have this very rare condition known as being left handed, so naturally I play guitar left handed. I don’t flip the strings however (thin E string on top low E string on bottom) and I play just fine. I only started learning a few months ago but I enjoy it a whole lot. 

I have a huge collection of music (mainly country) spanning many formats including CD, Cassette Tape, LP, 45, 78, 8 Track Tape, etc. the oldest pieces of music I own are on Edison Diamond Disc with the music dating to the early 1900s (1908 I wanna say). I own 129 vinyls, 62 cassettes, 58 CDs, & 17 8 Track Tapes. My favorite format is cassette tape because they look really cool (especially when they crop the original album art), they’re really fun to make mixtapes with, & in my opinion they can sound just as good or better in some cases than a CD if you have the right equipment. 

I listen to all my music (excluding my shellac records and Diamond Disc) on a 1970s stereo system with 2 pairs of speakers hooked up to it.

Music I enjoy: old country (1950s-1990s), classic rock (1950s-2000s), Swing/Jazz, Anime music, & Nightcore.

My favorite albums of all time are Clint Black-George Strait-Strait From The Heart (1982), Killin’ Time (1989), Garth Brooks- Self Titled (1989), Joe Diffie- Third Rock From The Sun (1994), Breaking Benjamin- Phobia (2006) 

As for gaming/watching YT & anime, I use a CRT TV. I currently have a NES, SNES, PS3, and VCR/DVD player hooked up to it. I have a flatscreen but prefer the way the CRT looks, the pictures a lot more sharp in some cases and these game consoles and shows were made for these TVs. 

Outside of anime, I mainly watched YT my favorite YT’ers are: Scott The Woz, VWestLife, DeadwingDork, Tech Moan, AVGN, Dejavudea, Magic Mush, tanman5123, Dank Pods, James Channel, Slimy as Mr Galaxy [TSS], Emirichu, & more

So yeah. My name makes a lot of sense lol. Very Retro indeed.
