AI users who say they want to stop climate change piss me off

People genuinely go like "We need to do what we can to stop climate change from getting worse" yet turn around and say "I love AI!" It does not work that way. AI is the BIGGEST reason the world is running out of water, the thousands of data centers REQUIRE having a shit ton of water used to cool the computers off. We cannot stop climate change if we keep fueling it by using AI.

All of the other big contributions to climate change we also really need to start doing something about, reducing AI usage and stuff will definitely help first but alongside it we should try stopping so much deforestation, try using less transportation that uses gasoline, reducing all of the construction and everything would help.

I know not everyone can actively do something but at least spreading the word to people around you can help do something even if it's small.
