Bowling for soup sounds just as good as it has always done. Like most people, I've heard 1985 and a few other songs from them, but I've never listened to a full album. This album has a few new favorites for me! Ohio hits hard, I had a long distance ex from Ohio, and I still think about how things could have been sometimes :(

This band was formed by Krist Novoselic from Nirvana. The opening track Sasquatch sets the vibe for the album. The singer has a beautiful voice, and the music itself is very prog rock sounding.

I couldn't really vibe with this album. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with it, it just didn't really hit the right spot. It spans a few genres, but I would say it just comes under indie rock as a whole. The whole album was reminiscent of Bloc Party, which is strange because I love Bloc Party.
