AM I DOING THE CORRECT THING ??

AITA typa stuff iykwim,,

i have a sister who i dont talk to AT ALL even if shes in the same room as me, and even if she lives in the same house as me. i cook for her because of decency but i dont eat with her nor wish her "good night".

i mean thats not that bad what im doing, right? my family thinks otherwise - they say shes supposed to be my biggest supporter, that i should talk with her and treat her better, that i will regret this later and that i made a bad decision..

so now the context of why im doing this ;

she talked badly about me behind my back to my friends (they were absolutely baffled and told me immediately about what she did), she talked badly about my mother, she faked having DID/being a system just to be EXTREMELY rude to me (although that was a few years ago), most of the time told me to do her chores, STRANGLED ME WHEN WE FOUGHT ??, made animations which depicted her hurting me and showing me how proud she was of it, and more things that are more personal.

did i make the right decision..???
