Maybe because the heat makes me incapable of doing anything normal. Like I can't do my hobbies or even general stuff without feeling demotivated from everything. Also, summer always has the longest school holidays, and it feels weird to have free time and not be buried in piles of books. Because my gcse exams ended, I have a two month summer break and now I don't know what to do with my free time at all, and everything just feels boring to me. I'm not sure if it's just me but hot weather makes it really hard for me to form a coherent thought in my head, and that angers me.
Also, for some reason, I get unreasonably happy whenever it's raining or if there's a thunderstorm outside. Not sure why, though.

REAL ASF i start genuinely tweaking out during this time of year i get literal symptoms of stuff idk what in particular but there has to be something wrong with it theres so many things it could be,, like i start suddenly getting pissed at everybody and acting kind of weird and cold, but not so much this year now that im self aware. im still losing my shit im just trying not to take it out on others anymore

Aw im sorry I get like this too, I hope you find your happy place soon. I would honestly just go on drives, DIY, and bake since I had no friends. It was actually fun.
i also understand liking the rain, it can be really peaceful
Thank you :)

nope I get summer depression too its a real thing 💔 most people think seasonal depression only applies to winter but it really doesn't, summer sucks especially when you have no car, job or available friends
Real, people don't believe me when I say summer feels depressing
