《Oct 17: Okay so ive read up to chp 17 and yes its been like 5 or so days shut up ive been busy (omg its been 1 day time doesnt exist we all live in the void kill me)
so far im loving it, very funny, very cute, some mystery is afoot, good pacing, nice balance between the real world and the virtual world, good art (its that korean bl art so yk theyre gonna have those wide shoulders thick necks and tiny heads but its the "real" guy type bl so the "bottom" (omg im sry guys but thats how i gotta refer to him) also is manly though i love a good twink on twink action) over all good
the rival guild is set up as the bad evil ppl and i kinda dislike ghat cus i hate when the ml is shown as the good saint and anyone who goes against him is evil but how its done here is nice where everyone hates both the ml's guild and the rival guild
the ml himself is very fun hes insane and completely obsessed w the mc but not in a creepy stalker way more in a annoying way where hes constantly following mc around
The mc is super fun hes smart and notices when the ml is tryna trick him and can connect the dots but he (sadly) doesnt take advantage of the ml —(prob cus hes supposed to be a good person sumn sumn i read a review about this kinda trope where the mc refuses expensive shit to make those reading not feel like bad ppl when those gifts are forced on them cus they had no choice which also leads into the rape trope where the readers can still feel like good ppl cus they didnt want the sex so if they enjoy it then they arent bad ppl because women shouldnt be sexual or sumn cusa patriarchy or sumn)— the mc also knows his shit when it comes to gaming and can beat the ml or atleast hold his own
plot is very good has a driving force both in game and irl so we feel dont feel like the author forgot one world in favor of the other and during down time there is still development of characters or interesting bits going on that progress the plot (eg sleepy lvling up and the prelims) so we dont feel like the characters arent doing anything plus the cause and reaction is very well done
other character dont feel like background noise and the whole guild feels like friend group
The game thy play feels like a game and the details of it feel like the author knows their shit (i wouldnt know tho im too socially anxious to play mmorpgs)
foreshadowing is used well as we can infer what will cause the 3rd act break up so when it eneviavly happens we wont feel caught off gaurd
so far im guessing well see the mc soon and im very excteé 10/10 so far i dont have any bad notes》
