Hello, everyone!
As I continue to fix audio on my already-released (in other places) tracks, I thought I'd release a couple more that I've had finished at some point, to pass the time between releases.
Anxiety was a track I made very early on since starting making music. It's a very messy track with a big whiplash moment towards the end, but I think it fits the theme, the name. After all, it actually was made when I woke up in the middle of the night with a flare-up of anxiety and couldn't fall asleep.
Intrusive Thoughts follows up, another experimental track, something different to what I usually make. An ominous build-up before a heavy, imposing metallic snare takes the lead with some simple synths. Not made during a mental health episode, but the inspiration was in there nonetheless. And once you think it's done... nope, they never really go away, now do they?
I was considering a whole album with this theme, but recently I've not really been in a mental space for this kind of a thing, which I think is better all things considered.
Thanks,
Cordell
