The Wizard of Oz is an absolute classic of movie musicals, kicking off hundreds of spin-offs in books, films, and theatre. Did you know the very first film version dropped way back in 1910? It is literally over a century old, and a silent, black-and-white one at that. Then, in 1939, our poor peepers were finally treated to the famous Technicolor The Wizard of Oz.
Watching that mad over-the-top display of special effects left me proper inspired, especially by the Good Witch. I have a massive soft spot for her since I loved her part in the book so much. Feeling well nostalgic now, so why not do a quick sketch?
