I started listening to her around 2018 when Sweetener came out, I was doing homework and decided to give her a go. And oh god what a journey. Then came thank u, next. They were the only two albums I would listen to on repeat. I wouldn´t call myself an Arianator, but I do have an eye on her. I would read news about her, wait for her new music and stuff like that.
I didn´t like eternal sunshine. Maybe a song or two but that´s it. Then the deluxe of the deluxe version brighter days ahead was maybe a bit better, but I still had a grimace when I first heard it all. I ended up liking a few songs just because I got used to them.
And then petal... it´s better than eternal sunshine, but still not good enough. And it upsets me, because she used to have good music. It´s like watching a downfall I don´t want to witness. The songs are like the same but with different fonts, the beats are good but it lacks... her.
Ariana said she´s taking a break after her tour, and I PRAY she gets healthy and a really good rest. I know she doesn´t like when people say "I miss the old you" but !!! I need her good music back and for her to feel comfortable in her own skin, there´s no way she´s feeling fine right now.
It doesn´t matter how long it takes, I´ll still be here to listen to her new music after her break. And I hope it´s good, or at least, a bit better than her last two albums.
