arranging music iz hardddd

so i'm arranging the song plainsong by the cure for a symphony (minus strings which idk if they have them but yk) cos im in concert band and i wanna play if for our spring concert:p im really just using a musescore reference of the og song and putting the parts for diff instruments+transposing but some parts i have to write by using my brain and GOLLY!! THIS IS HARD!!!!!!!11 im trying to write in the vocal parts 4 flute solo and omfg bruh im tryna make it sound lyrical/flowy but it just.......ughhh it sounds bad:( imma need our soloist to vibrato to the max to sound gud:/

ok anyways. yea. i set myself up this was 100% my choice. the world needs plainsong played by a big band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
