Back to the Digital Dimension
April 3, 2011
Hi, guys.
So, Mikey Kudo and Shoutmon return to the Digital World and land in what they learn to be known as Dragonland from Shoutmon's old friend named Lilymon. Lilymon reveals that the Digital World has been formatted by Lord Bagra into seven lands with the Bagra Army's Dark Fortress in the center. The three see a faction of the Bagra Army under the command of Dorbickmon who is known as the Fire Fury. Dorbickmon is one of the seven Dark Generals overseeing the lands. Dorbickmon pursues a deserter named Dracomon. Mikey and Shoutmon use a pseudonym named Flowerymon. Mikey and Shoutmon attempt to save Dracomon before Shoutmon finds himself unable to Digivolve. Team Blue Flare arrives with Christopher Aonuma calling out Dorbickmon. Dorbickmon uses his power to manipulate the land against them. Dorbickmon appears in his Darkness Mode One form to defeat DeckerGreymon after force DigiFusing his Flarerizamon into a flaming sword. Dorbickmon finds that Christopher has escaped thanks to the help of Mikey and company. Dorbickmon cancels his DigiFusion with Huanlongmon to have him and the Salamandermon flush them out of the tunnels. Despite Christopher putting him down for being weak, Dracomon attempts to sacrifice himself to enable the others to escape from the magma. This causes Shoutmon to Digivolve to OmniShoutmon to save Dracomon before defeating Huanglongmon and his forces. Having learned of Mikey's real identity, Dorbickmon arrives to attack them. Dorbickmon subjects OmniShoutmon to his power.
But we don't stop there, because It is the dawn of another new day. A new Star Fragment, similar to the one that created the original Pegasus and L-Drago, has entered the Earth's atmosphere. Yuki, a young astronomer and a Blader, is keen to see the mysteries behind the Star Fragment and unlock its secrets. Before the Star Fragment collides with the earth it explodes and sends beams of light across the world. Yuki and his Beyblade, Mercury Anubius, are hit by one of the beams of light and sent flying. After getting up, Yuki notices his Bey is shining and begins some research. However, there are some that have the same views but for a different purpose, Pluto and his apprentice, Johannes. Elsewhere, Madoka is fixing Gingka's Galaxy Pegasus which was badly damaged during the battle against the Spiral Core. All of a sudden, a beam of light similar to the one that hit Yuki's Bey hits Pegasus. The results are the same with Pegasus shining. The next day, Gingka and Kenta are at a local Beyblade tournament. With Kenta continuously defeating his opponents, Gingka bursts out cheering, despite the fact it is against the rules as he is commentating on the matches. Several rule violations later, Kenta is announced the winner of the tournament and is given a trophy. Upon reaching the B-Pit, Gingka lets loose with excitement when he sees his newly fixed Bey and thanks Madoka, who was sleeping. Upon awaking, Madoka tries to explain what happened the night before but Gingka and Kenta run out, already deciding to have a battle. While outside Gingka notices an arrow flying at Madoka and almost hits her. The arrow contains a challenge note from an anonymous person. Gingka quickly accepts despite not knowing who the challenger is. Gingka and his friends arrive at a beach only to be greeted by Kyoya and Benkei who are on a boat in the beach's ocean. Before long, a battle breaks out between Gingka and Kyoya who wish to settle the score once and for all. Rock Leone appears to be stronger than ever and ends up throwing boulders at Galaxy Pegasus. Back on the island, Gingka and Kyoya are stopped by a mud hole in which Leone has gotten stuck in. Pegasus attempts to use Star Booster Attack on it only to be stopped by Leone's Lion Gale Force Wall. In a huge explosion, Pegasus and Leone evolve into Cosmic Pegasus and Fang Leone much to their owners' surprise. The Beys seem to have hidden potential and Madoka cannot find any data on either Beyblade. Pegasus is soon pushed into a corner by Leone and is about to lose all its remaining rotations, however, Pegasus' Performance Tip changes and both Beys soon begin their full power attacking spree again. Both Gingka and Kyoya appear to be shocked and the two Beys cause another massive explosion. Kenta, Madoka, and Benkei cover their eyes and when they open them they are shocked to see Gingka and Kyoya knocked to the ground while their Beyblades keep spinning. Meanwhile, Yuki is rushing to board a ship to find Gingka. However, Johannes is spying on him without Yuki noticing, with the company of a cat.
But we're not done yet, because a hooded man and his hired help make their way to a cavern in the icy north, which turns out to be a vault or a tomb of some kind as evidenced by the frozen frost giants. The guides either panic and run away or are killed and the stranger claims his prize: the Casket of Ancient Winters. Amora and Skurge show up to check on the man, revealed to be Malekith the Accursed, a dark elf who was, until recently, imprisoned in Niffleheim. He turns on them and unleashes the full power of the Casket, covering the entire world in winter.
Meanwhile, it's a warm sunny day in New York. Hawkeye, Wasp and Hulk are enjoying the sun, so are reluctant to go assist Iron Man, Thor, and Black Panther who are caught up in a battle against Radioactive Man. After a brief skirmish, Radioactive Man begins draining power from the Arc Reactor in the Stark Industries building. Iron Man attempts to sink the reactor and Radioactive Man into the ground but Thor smashes the reactor's cooling pipes, opting to subdue him with large amounts of water instead. An argument breaks out when Thor starts ranting about the evils of mortal science but it has to be put on hold when snow starts falling over New York City. He recognizes the magic and explains the Casket's power. It turns out Odin hid the artefact on Earth long ago since it would be beneath the notice of most Asgardians.
Tony calls Thor out on how a magical artefact is causing just as much damage as human science, continuing the argument from before, and T'Challa deduces that the Casket is located in Norway, despite the fact that Stark was previously unable to determine any pattern in the magic's effects. The situation gets progressively worse as ice monsters start emerging from the snow. Captain America, using his shield as a snow sled, and the rest of the Avengers fight back against them with the help of the Fantastic Four and Ultron while Iron Man heads to Norway with Thor and Panther to stop the problems at their source. Iron Man and Thor continue to trade snarks about magic and technology.
The trio confronts Malekith, who promptly freezes Thor and announces his plan to turn Midgard into a new home for the dark elves. He then sics the hounds on Panther and Iron Man, and draws upon the power of the Casket to make himself unstoppable. Panther tells Iron Man and Thor in no uncertain terms that they will need to combine the strengths of magic and science if they hope to beat Malekith. Thor then hits Iron Man's armor with lightning, supercharging it, and allowing him to defeat the dark elf. With him out of the way, they are able to close the Casket and banishes all the spirits and ice monsters back where they came from. Iron Man and Thor manage to settle their differences but they are jumped by Amora and Skurge, who take the Casket. Thor attempts to return to Asgard and warn the other gods and his father Odin of the Enchantress' treachery, but finds that the way is sealed! He can't go back and it revealed that his father Odin was in trouble of his Odinsleep and Loki, who asked Thor to apologize for an incident that occurred at the school's gym on social media, stole the throne to become the dark king of Asgard to enslave all realms.
