berkana rant #2

i want her to be one of the biggest threats, she kills sigma and singlehandedly turned the sentient maverick virus into a regular (but no less dangerous one) by eating the remnants of sigma's data soul within it.
i have two options for what this does, depending if i want her to live or die...

for the live option, her buffs are pretty nerfed. like sure, she gets complete and total immunity to the maverick virus and all its evolving strands, but she doesn't get any degree of control over it. the most she gets is a little power boost (like the ones zero got from the sigma virus in x6, but far too weak to be viable. theres no point in wasting her time like that.
for the death option, she *does* get that control over it, and i'd think she's way more dangerous with it than sigma ever was (once she realizes how to use it).. actually wait, what was sigma's motives again? whatever.

yeah so, with that she'd literally be too dangerous to be kept alive.
moving on from the virus stuff and focusing on her scientific pursuits. i think she wouldnt have called x "cute", beautiful maybe. i want to lessen her flirtatious-ness and increase her "whatever the hell is wrong with her"

she doesnt see x as a person (or zero for that matter), only seeing them as a plethora of unknown data just waiting to be decoded. also i like thinking that berkana is the first person to figure out zero's connection to the virus and has the time of her life holding the lack of knowledge over x and zero.

also, just to fill in one of vile's mks. berkana did rebuilt him for cannon fodder reasons, but since he *is* a loose cannon, she built in a kill switch (high energy emp). though its important to remember that vile is smart despite his love of wanton destruction. vile is a strategist and would have eventually found some way to combat it. so the best way to avoid that would be leaving him in a stasis until he needs to be used. to berkana, vile's only use would be gathering extra data on x and zero. thats it.

once hes lived out his use, berkana would activate the emp in the hopes that with viles destruction from the inside-out, itd end up knocking both x and zero out so gareth could bring them in, allowing her to strap them to a lab table for as long as she needs <3

speaking of gareth, shes a girl now. berkana made her in her own image (im so fr, gareth has berkana's face)
im thinking that berkana, as she built her loyal knight (she thinks of herself as a queen and gareth refers to her as such) thought that the only fitting face any of her creations could have would be her own. im also thinking that gareth was supposed to be a "faceless" knight (visor completely covers gareth's face), but she literally could not resist putting her mark there. berkana is just that self-absorbed, making a faceless, ever loyal knight with her own face.

also the soul erasers actually erase the souls. the souls dont go back to the reploids they were stolen from, as berkana and gareth (mostly berkana) literally ate them.

also gareth dies first, berkana is annoyed as hell. that was literally her property, what the fuck <-- berkana's own thoughts

i tried to put my own spin on her design, just regular sketches right now. i removed her hair and made her helmet look like a crown that's way too extra. also i thought the sides of her helmet, the ones that cover her cheeks, were literally her cheeks.
i wanted to make her more robotic as i fully believe she'd do that to herself. she removed her legs, making her dress full of a fuck ton of ram, hard drives, and processors.

the only thing that held her back was her own ego and x and zero being the main characters she could have literally restarted the war for the lols (since yknow, after x1-3 but before x4). i think if she had won, it wouldve happened and she'd encourage it (probably figure out a way to farm data souls from all the death)

yeah so, i like berkana. i like women :3
