hello everyone ⸜( ´ ꒳ ` )⸝ i've recently seen a ton of people posting intros about how they're new to friendrewind and come from spacehey. as someone who's come from there myself, i have no problem w it and understand. spacehey was banned for a lot of people (hi, me) and was full of bugs and dead profiles.

but it's not crazy to feel like the new influx of people from there might make the site worse. not to say that they're bad people or anything, but the biggest issue with spacehey imo was the dead profiles and lack of interaction. on spacehey, it felt like most people were just there to deck out their profiles, dm people, and do literally nothing else. (# `Д ‘) they wouldn't post on their blogs, they wouldn't interact with forums or groups, nothing. which honestly made it feel super dead, despite the amount of users. (,; ⩌ ;,)
all of these + the banning (eek!!!) made me switch to friendrewind, as have a lot of people. i love how many active profiles there are and how people actually reply to forum posts! it's also super nice to see how the site devs/admin seem to care and frequently update the site. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
the nicest thing about friendrewind is the interactions w people! ヾ(*ᗜ*)ﾉ" i love commenting on others' blogs and checking out forum topics and seeing my moots' statuses and bulletins. there wasn't much of that in spacehey. (¬_¬") the amount of new users from there makes me worried that they'll take that profile aura farming and non-interaction energy with them, and this site will eventually become like spacehey: full of inactive profiles and with low interaction.
however, i think that the new users from spacehey have also brought a new benefit: tons more people to talk with!! it's nice to have more users to talk with, and more activity on the site. \(^w^)/ so if you're from spacehey and you're reading this... USE THE FORUMS!!! REPLY TO BLOGS!!! POST BULLETINS AND STATUSES!!! don't give us a bad name, pls (ᵕ—ᴗ—) thank u for reading <3

i also came here from spacehey (heard about this site on there actually) bc i had been on there since 2023 and interacted with maybe 5 people over the course of my time on there. it was SO dead by the time i realized i had to leave lmao. this site is way way better imo, not just in terms of functionality but also activity
**it wasn't banned in my country (canada), i just left of my own accord :P

Oh my god yeah I've tried multiple codes from my lineup on spacehey and none really seemed to work to I just used the visual editor! I wish I could change the icons in my contact box and add stuff in the corners + a loading screen but I have noooo idea on how to do that lol. Looking at the code too long hurts my head

i came from spacehey too and honestly i also changed bcs of the low interaction, its loke a ghost town!! and i find that ppl here are much nicer! tho i do have a hard time interacting w ppl cus im kindof akward ita fun seeing the site active and actually being able to interact with users:-333

Omg I 100% agree!! I just recently migrated here, not even because of the ban(tho the ban totally still sucks!! ) but because I was just so tired of how dead/toxic spacehey was! I feel like every post I ran into was spam, ragebait or just hateful, ugh!!
I didn't originally think I was gonna leave and come here, but after I made my profile I realized how much better it genuinely it is( ;∀; ) Makes me feel a bit bad, since I was on Spacehey for years and even bought some of the stickers to support it (´-`;)...

i’ve also come from SpaceHey (that’s where i even heard about this site to begin with) and i’m with you, the biggest problem was the inactivity. i barely ever used SpaceHey because there was nobody to talk to, nothing to do.
i’m glad that so far my Friendrewind experience has been different — better, actually — compared to SpaceHey. i’ve re-sparked my love for blog posting + reading and it’s been awesome.
still, like you, i’m hoping people are more active on here! they seem to be, at least for now :]
