blurrily recalling my family ghost hunting experience

Two years ago, for my birthday, I went ghost hunting with my step family. They do have a ghost hunting business sorta, and when I expressed interest they invited me to go along with them. We went to the historical Hanna house in Indiana, which is basically known for the myth that a group of harbored slaves died in its basement from a fire.

Now, I fully don't believe in ghosts, but I suspended that for this outing. We used pretty much every ghost hunting tool you've ever seen... a ghost box, a faulty flashlight, dowsing rods, and a few more I don't even remember. They let me hold the dowsing rods but nothing happened when I did it (ghosts probably just dislike me,) but I was mostly just watching while the professionals did their thing.

We went in the terrifying, dark attic to use the ghost box. We sat one of the ghost hunters down, blindfolded her, and put on noise canceling headphones which were connected to the ghost box, and she said out loud what she heard. The ghosts talked about fire and stuff, which checks out I suppose. We also went into the very dark basement to use the ghost box, but not much was said down there. It was the middle of the night by that point. We did a few other things, but that's the gist of it all. Pictures below.
