buying stuff

ive been wanting to buy kagurabachi stuff since forever and FINALLY got some money and wow. it's kinda difficult to stay in my budget + it takes so long T_T

firstly, wanted to go with mercari jp... no. immediate no. the shipping alone is like DOUBLE the price of the actual stuff im trying to get?? not even attempting to get into tariffs and all that..... the items seem cheap, but shipping and tariffs will fuck you over dear god (for a test, looked to see how much one item ~$9 would be, it ended up being, like, 37 bucks) so like okay

then, i found a second website which seemed fine, but quite literally as soon as i was about to purchase i realized that youre gonna get hit with fees after buying due to tariffs.....yaaaaaayyyyyy thanks trump!!

finally, i decided on mercari us... the item prices are a bit much (but its pretty reasonable, so yknow) but at the very least there isnt any tariffs to worry about and shipping is pretty fine....

not to go on a tangent or whatever, but when i complain about tariffs to my white family they're so quick to say "oh theyve been doing it to us for so long, so we have to do it back!" you realize it only raises the prices for OUR things, right? it's such an odd stance considering that it just means the people exporting it will make their prices higher to make up for that extra expense, so the businesses who have to purchase those items (so literally every business ever) will raise their prices due to the higher prices to get them, which all leads to the consumer being forced to buy those items at a higher price.

trying to explain that to people who refuse to listening is so tiring but i still go through all that trouble for some reason. all i can do is get frustrated and try even harder, to no avail.

yeah but tldr: tariffs fucking suck manT_T also send me some money hahahahahahahahahahaha or just buy me stuff hhahahhahhahhahaaaaaaaaaaahahaaaa winkwink nudgenudge
