CD Player finally came in

Hello, everyone!

You might've seen an earlier blog of mine - RackQuest - where I mention going on a small quest to slightly retroify my day to day, I had the thought of grabbing a CD player and start a collection of my own, since listening to some physical music could make it feeling more special once more. A change from hitting skip skip skip on Spotify - at least, in the evenings, when I could stay offline and read some more books again! 

I picked some kinda Lenco unit that takes rechargeable batteries - and can even charge them, though I already have a better tool for that lol. It came with some stinkbuds with period-appropriate audio quality, which will make it all the more nostalgic. Overall, it's small and cute, and has plenty of room next to me on the bed, for convenient reading.

As for the CDs... I have a bunch that I got to keep when my brother moved out from our old home many many years ago, but I will keep that for when I have a proper rack or shelf to display them in. For now - I ordered one (set) to arrive alongside the player: Linkin Park's Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition set! While not exactly of the time, we can just pretend the extra CDs are just from an LPU collection :P
