We saw Chris Trapper and Three Dog Night the other day at Timber Rock Amphitheater. This was our 2nd time going to this venue and it's pretty nice. Our seats were further down, so I couldn't see much of the mountains beyond the stage; they were nice to look at the first time around. I always like when we go down to Pennsylvania for a show because we almost always visit one of my grandpa's friends at his house and go out to eat at a place called Bud Murphy's. I get their spicy chicken sandwich and battered fries with a mountain dew pretty much every time. I love it.

I went in blind with Chris Trapper. I do so every now and then because I like to be introduced that way with some people. It makes listening to their music much more enjoyable later on if I do like them. I found that I really liked his songs, at least the ones he sang that night. I thought they sounded good, of course, but I also just liked the lyrics themselves. They were nice to listen to.
Something I hate is when people just talk through an opener. At least I was able to hear him the entire time even with background chatter. I've gone to a few where I couldn't even tell when they were talking about because all I could hear were the people behind us. It can be so infuriating. Just give them the courtesy of your time and sit and listen, even to clear your head for 30 minutes. I think it's manageable.

Three Dog Night were so good, and I enjoyed every minute. I've been loving their music lately, so it was amazing to actually hear those songs in person. It always is. I love live music so much that I will be smiling the entire time; I just can't help it.
