guessing off the pfp alone im assuming this is about the character from obsession. havent seen that movie but id say the bear guy is literally the modern day scott pilgrim. Kindly Bear is nothing like Scott Pilgrim, Scott obviously wasn’t a great person but Bear is just straight up diabolical & disgusting, especially considering some of the deleted scenes that they say definitely still apply to his character, I’d recommend watching the movie because it was a cinematic masterpiece ^^ what i mean is that narratively, you are not meant to like either character, and you are not meant to want to be either character, but young adult men look past that and idolize them. theyre def way different in terms of morals (scott actually gtows as a person, im pretty sure bear doesnt) but its about people looking at the most "this guy is a shitty person who you should not treat as a role model" characters and treating them like a role model anyays. also im not really big into the horror genre otherwise id totally check it out, ive seen a buncha clips tho!! Ohh I misunderstood then, it just felt like a big jump to make from guy who sucks but has character growth & actual rapist, yk? That’s what my point was meant to be, but yeah it definitely is still the same genre of men completely missing the point, some even going as far as saying Bear was the victim is actually laughable, like I think you’d have to watch the movie with the sound off & your eyes closed to come to that conclusion, I get what you’re saying now though |
