I just made a bulletin abt this!!! Canada has cut like 50% of the funds for their wildfire prevention.

The air quality where I live is horrible rn too

its cuz they don't have controlled burns like they do in the u.s. :( indigenous ppl had been doing controlled burns for hundreds of years before it got outlawed. in california, it became legalized again once ppl realized that it actually helps prevent those crazy large wildfires.
