im not like a massive linux head (i run CachyOS for the sake of convienence) but i know AntiX is good if your pc is a real shitbox, runs off Debian i think?, and nsCDE should work (i used AntiX once as a test and it runs as expected for something real damn lightweight) |

i actually happened to be looking at antix last night, actually, though i didnt download it. ill give it a shot though! i don't think my pc is a super duper shitbox, but i am wondering to myself if it actually underperforms compared to my ultra shitbox pc i used to use. god i can't believe i used windows 10 with 4 gb of ram for like 6-8 years.
i have at least now found out how to (hopefully) make debian work and accept my crappy usb internet dongle, since it seems to be a kernel thing i guess. i'll try that, i'll try antix, if nothin works then uhhh i'll see if there's a guide on how to run windows xp without getting a virus or whatever idk
