The early stages of AI was developed i believe somewhere around the 1960s by joseph weizenbaum, it would play as a psychotherapist and took the input from users to simulate real experiences to initially demonstrate technical capacity. However he was deeply perturbed at the many users that quickly began to grow emotional attachments to it. He would later write a book, 'Computer Power and Human Reason', to emphasize how an informational processors' ability to mimic human relatability pales in comparison to a human's skillset, and warned the dangers of resonating with something devoid of actual sentiment. |

Actually AI had been around since 1980's though in Video Games. Like during Nintendo Family Computer/Nintendo Entertainment System. But maybe we're talking about what the kind of AI we had now right? im talking about AI such as chatgbt and other types of AI that doesnt really help. |

I should probably finish his book, but his insights and warnings should've been heeded before this whole AI takeover. It's a little scary!
