As someone who specifically avoids "conventional" social media, I agree with you. It's sad to see how algorithms and the extreme use of AI have generalized so much content; it's now just about likes or follows 

Even I, who come from Spacehey, had to leave because of the number of AI-generated bots; it was like a minefield.

But the good thing is that networks like this one and YouTube are proving to be a "refuge" for many who are looking for something that simply surprises them.

Well, yeah.... Looking at how Major Mainstream Social Media Websites right now.

But hey at least I really enjoy websites like "FriendRewind" and "KamTape".... I really enjoy it's Mid 2000's - Late 2000's Internet Aesthetic and Vibes.

I'm quite happy with what we have on websites like these and I find myself using these more than the likes of Facebook and YouTube.
