the thing i didn't like when i was on windows 11 is the "can your computer run it?" thingy when i updated to windows 11 i thought it would run fine, and honestly? it did for some time, i had to deal with less bullshit trying to run software(new and old) but it went far from "fine", my poor laptop cannot handle it despite what the microsoft says and with the latest updates, i might as well just stay on 10 everything works just fine rn... |

Yeah I feel that. With the "Windows 11 readiness" you could run it on a lower specced machine, but Microsoft wanted you to buy a new computer.
With my main system, 11 ran fine for a bit, but it got so bad that I switched to Linux Mint. Sadly, I'm stuck using 11 for school on my secondary system, and it's barely usable.
