I love this. Buying CDs is genuinely one of the best things you can do for an artist and yourself. I myself own a small collection of my fav bands CDs which i then rip and put on my ipod and i never have to worry about paying a subscription. Additionally, being in a band (this account), we make our CDs of our releases and we sell them and these are a sure fire way to make some money!!! (jk) people freaking love physical media, especially gig goers. And they get to keep a part of our small local music scene in their possession |

(edited) Report This !! Physical media is such a wonderful way to show how much you truly care for an artist to purchase the ENTIRE album. I buy my favorites and always love how much work goes into it. Even if online albums have so much work put into them, the artwork in CDs that are so unique to the album cannot be replicated. I love my collection as well :3 what artists/albums do you have I collect a lotta pop punk and post hardcore albums :P my favorites being Lets Cheers to This by Sleeping With Sirens, Self titled by The Used, and Wires... And The Concept of Breathing by A Skylit Drive. I've also got a few movie soundtracks (LOTR specifically) and miscellaneous things thrown in. I think I've got about 25-30ish CDs in my collection so far :DDD ohemgee I also have a sleeping with sirens CD !!
