Movies about how dangerous strangers can be almost always end up being mad repulsive and hypocritical when it's obvious that the director and/or screenwriter seems to be deriving some sadistic pleasure from making said movie; that's something that kept me from liking The Poughkeepsie Tapes
Like it's one thing if it's an exploitation flick meant for extreme horror audiences or whatever, but Megan Is Missing is definitely more insidious because of its claimed intent
