Don't hate humanity, no good comes from that. That being said, I understand how you feel, but don't wrongfully blame everyone for the things bad people do.

Humanity's faults are largely due to our self awareness, we became capable of perceiving harm rather than just feeling it, and that has cause the cunning to find better ways of causing it. But make no mistake though, every sentient life in this universe that is capable of getting to our level of society is going to have our capacity for evil.    If wolves became the dominant species instead of us monkeys, they'd be just as terrible. Trust.    Because it's a problem of sapient self awareness and free will, not just "humans bad."

As nerdy as this reference is, it makes me think of Optimus Prime from the 2007 Bay movies. "Were we so different?" (He said in response to Iron Hide calling us a violent and primitive race.) "They are a young species, they have much to learn."     A lot of the worlds problems are cause by carelessness more than intentional malice, though that's not to downplay hate crimes, corruption or warmongering around the globe.    The humanity we face day to day are not worst people ever as much as they are capable of being so, they're just people going about their lives not knowing any better    you think they should, but a lot of people are raised terribly, and that's something that can be fixed if we tried.

Yes, there are a lot of people only thinking about themselves, but that's the way we all have to live, because we can only control what's around us. I'm sure that if people could snap their fingers and make it all stop they would, and you have to count that as a part of humanity to be thankful for.

The world that was made for us was made out of the dreams of our ancestors, and we owe them the faith that their sacrifices weren't in vain.

All the evil of today will die off due to old age, and you need to be better than them if you want the next generation to be any kinder.    Don't let social media doom you into thinking there's nothing you can do.

Humanity is actually really dope and cool by the way, and is responsible for taming a lot of violence caused by the animal kingdom through our domestication of the wild. Dogs would not be nearly as fun and loving if they didn't have us to guide them. And we're basically the earths only hope in doing what was once impossible. Only we can cure diseases and build reliable infostructure to bring safety and comfort to our lives. Not to mention all the art and expression that we bring into the world.

Yeah... there's a lot wrong... The things we do to get our Big Macs isn't great to say the least, but If we believe in ourselves at the very least, things can be better. You have to believe that.     Remember that we've only become capable of high-fidelity science since the 1900s, that pales in comparison to the Millenniums we've lived as hunter gatherers. Being at this level of society is still new to us, and all those wars are perpetuated by centuries of ignorance.

The reference to Prime isn't the best, Bayverse prime is rather poorly written and later becomes a rather violent character in his own right (there's better versions of the character to quotes anyways), but in that moment I think the writers were at lease moderately thoughtful about not blaming evil on all of humanity.

I see no reason to hate humanity, than I should an alien per'say.
