I don't use them myself, but all that I have heard of AI detectors is that they are woefully inaccurate, themselves being AI as well, so I'd personally dismiss a judgement based solely off of one of those.


AI-generated text usually has a lot more tells than just an em dash, rules of three, not just x but y, and so on. But most of all that it just feels uncanny, with a degree of platitudes that just feel weird. Which they just are, being just a calculation of averages, less than a written piece with thought put in. It's the same stuff with the increase in prevalence of the flyers that companies now like to use - they all look through same and have that uncanny feel to them. I see that more and more often, which is just... meh. I'd say keep using em dashes as much as you fancy, your text doesn't feel generated at all.
