That's very interesting, I've never heard of these terms before so I'm learning something new today. I think my family does something similar despite not knowing this "witchcraft" you speak of, my family does burn something in this little pan, it's very miniature and then goes to all the rooms and says it cleanses the energy similar to what you were saying. Though this hasn't happened in many months, I gotta say that the smoke smell is not pleasant SO I CAN GET WHY IT IS BELIEVED TO CLEANSE SPIRITS LOL thats called smudging i believe! depending on what they burn the smell is actually rlly good but some stank like no other.... by cherrypie0_o; ; Report Mines stinked 😔 But yeah wow, there's a term for that very fascinating!
