I actually do come from a different perspective, but my point wasn't that immigrants don't face hardships or that the legal immigration process is easy. I agree it's often incredibly difficult, expensive, and takes years. My point was simply that every country has immigration laws, and entering or remaining in a country without authorization is generally against those laws. I don't think acknowledging that means I lack empathy for people who are trying to build a better life. I also don't think it's productive to call people "privileged," "miserable," or "dumbass" because they disagree. We can have different opinions about immigration policy while still treating each other respectfully. |

Tell me your privilege, without telling me your privilege, getting citizenship to live in the USA is hard, just getting a visa takes a long time, especially when you come from a low class background, in Mexico there is a lot of classism that stops many people from getting in a better place, don’t say bullshit unless you yourself have life like that or come from a family of immigrants, and Most illegal immigrants that are Hispanic, are more native to the land then most USA citizens, need yall dumbass to learn shit and have empty, no wonder your miserable like this |
