this is a great collection! i only have ten or so, but the ones i did buy were from thrift stores and probably 99 cent each -except for one impulse purchase that was a Dokken cassette @ $11 or so. it seems that cassettes are actually the cheaper option between them and cd’s now. in thrift stores i’ve been to i think they range from .80 to $1 and a half maybe, cd’s have been priced about $2. either way, nothing beats a physical collection. i also like a lot of older rock, and appreciate what you have so far.
thank you!! at my usual thrift theyre like 50 cents or a dollar usually, i've been trying to buy more records lately tho so i haven't been buying a lot of tapes. also yess older rock is the best, anything past the 90s is not nearly as good lolz. ive been really into u2 lately and im starting to get into rush but i can't find any of their albums anywhere :'3 by xxcloser2theheart; ; Report |

thank you!! uhh i think around mid-2024. i remember i had two of them in the summer of 2024, they were both volumes of the solid gold collection :P basically i've been collecting ever since lol! i found a portable cassette player/recorder at a liquidation shop and i was SO excited, the owner said it was broken so she let me have it for free, so i took it home and put some batteries in and it worked!! still works to this day, altho i mostly use my boombox for tapes now
