No seriously I feel like the media literacy rate has dropped tenfold in the last 20 years. nobody can see the forest through the trees anymore.Β It's crazy to me when somebody calls the backrooms pointless or boring because it is one of the most tightly written movies I've watched with some of my favorite visuals I've seen in a while. |

YES!!!!!!! This!!!!! People literally cannot digest media anymore unless it's less than a minute long and dumbed down to the absolute max. Anything with substance is called boring and drawn out because no one has the capacity to think anymore. Backrooms is one of the best written films I've watched in a hot minute but it came at a time when the average person's ability to comprehend has dipped to an all time low. It makes me so angry
