i used to keep track of my dreams too but i would often struggle to remember them (plus i refuse to do it right as i wake up because it would ruin my sleep). but i have also had places i see in dreams appear more than once? or having one dream allude to one i had beforehand. or even dreaming INSIDE of the dream. or becoming lucid but still being unable to take control of my dream. or the dream feeling so much like reality that waking up becomes a whiplash. weird stuff. when i was younger i would have these dreams set in an environment that looks like it came out of the DORFic aesthetic. i did not even know that aesthetic had a name back then it was like 2020-2022? but it happened more than once. otherwise the environments and happenings in my dreams are really mundane lol
