only reason valve keeps the game running is because of the economy. there would be literal riots on the streets if they shut that down (and I as a trader would join them), especially since it implies that cs2 can also be shut down without a second thought. This game in its entirety died when its source code leaked in the early 2020s allowing the bot crisis. Its why I never recommend new players the game. No team balance, rampant issues with casual as a whole, and just a generally unforgiving space. |

As controversial as this may sound, but I'll say it anyways. Zesty Jesus is, was, and will forever be a mistake to the TF2 Community. To me I feel like he's the perfect example of the phrase "a broken clock is right twice a day": sometimes he'll offer up a take that's completely correct (re: team visibility, Quickplay etc.) but otherwise he just kneejerk shits on everything and has absoutely NO idea what he's talking about. You can say that again about Casual. Shit sucks. I practically only play community servers these days; the only time I feel like playing Casual is if I wanna play on something like Yukon or Mountain Lab.
