ceasing to sin is humanly impossible but i see your point. also, not everyone is a christian, so That's why we ask for forgiveness. When we sin, we pray for forgiveness and a better heart; Jesus knows we aren't perfect. by ArayeAngelFace; ; Report Ceasing to sin habitually and venially may be hard, but morally it is quite possible to do this. Something as simple as being humble and trusting in the goodness of God csn transform lives when we look to him.
