I dont think that friend rewind meintainers are particularly prejudice towards any group of people. I know some people were assuming that they werr using ai to make code the site but idk if they actually have any real proof of this. I will say this too sometimes you are going to run into users who are going to lean another ways this happens on any social media. Being centralized also means its harder to moderate every little thing in real time. It isnt as easy as say Mastodon or bluesky. So many posts. Little admins. They do have rules that seem to hunt that they intend it to not be fascist. Or any of that. If you find certain type of reportable posts which I rarely if ever seen ob here, report them. Help friendrewind help the greater community. |

my first block on this site was this dumbass having a k-on pfp (the shame....) and having very German far right views like?????? Yeah i've blocked a few people because of stuff like that and whilst it sucks that nazis seem to be allowed on the site I was more talking about things going on behind the scenes, apparently there's like a whole thing about the site host supporting racism and genAI??? Ahh i hope that's not gonna happen. I like to think someone so focused on privacy would also focus on making sure their platform doesn't become a ground for hate.
i mean, yeah, but honestly I am a little concerned tbh. Kinda wanna make sure i'm not using a site with connections to fascism.
